Why it is used
Information is used to respond to enquiries, assess programme fit, prepare offers, create student records, teach and assess the course, issue accurate school documents, process payments, prevent fraud, comply with legal duties and protect legitimate interests.
Sensitive documents
Do not send passport copies through EdBot, an unsecured form or an unverified message. Sensitive documents are requested only when necessary through the method stated by the school.
Sharing
Information may be shared only as reasonably necessary with authorised teachers, administrative providers, accountants, payment providers, technology services or public authorities under a lawful requirement. The school does not sell student data.
Retention
Records are kept for the period required by educational, contractual, tax, accounting, legal and legitimate record-keeping needs. Unsuccessful enquiry data should not be kept longer than reasonably necessary.
International services
Email, cloud, video, analytics or messaging providers may process information outside Brazil. Suitable contractual and security measures should be reviewed before launch.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, a person may request confirmation, access, correction, information about sharing, review of certain automated decisions, portability where applicable, anonymisation, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data, and withdrawal of consent where consent is the basis.
Security and incidents
